Privacy at Open Edit Guide.
How this static guide handles page visits, external links, and embedded video.
What does this site collect?
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, traffic sources, scrolling, and outbound link interactions. Google Analytics can use first-party cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions and sends usage and device information to Google. Google signals and advertising personalization signals are disabled in our tracking configuration. This site has no accounts, contact forms, or file uploads.
How can you control Analytics?
You can block analytics requests with your browser’s privacy controls or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on ↗. See how Google uses information from partner sites ↗ for more information.
What happens when a page is delivered?
Cloudflare delivers this site and may process request information, such as IP address, requested URL, and browser details, to serve and secure requests. Security cookies may depend on the enabled Cloudflare features. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy ↗ and Cloudflare’s cookie documentation ↗.
What about video and external links?
The PhotoCraft guide embeds a third-party YouTube video using youtube-nocookie.com. Loading or interacting with that player can send request and device information to Google. Privacy-enhanced embedding does not mean that no information is transferred. See Google’s privacy policy ↗. Links to software publishers and GitHub open external sites governed by their own policies.
How can you ask a privacy question?
Use the options on our contact page. This notice describes the site source at the update date shown above. It should be updated when tracking, forms, or integrations change.
